Albert Matthews, Sr.

Mr. Albert Matthews, Sr. was the son of Caldonia Matthews of Cleveland, Mississippi. He was grew up in Cleveland where he attended school. Later, he traveled many states working in tobacco fields. At an early age, he confessed his hope in Christ.

Albert was preceded in death by his mother, his daughters: Tiffany Matthews and Cherish Smith, his sons: Mark Matthews and Albert Jones, his siblings: Ruthie B. (PeeWee) Matthews and Brenda Matthews.

He leaves to cherish his memories his sons: Shawn Wilson, Albert Matthews, Jr. and Travis Jones, his daughters: Judy Williams and Jocelyn Grandberry, a very special niece, Veronica Matthews, and a host of grandchildren, great-grands, nieces, and nephews.
