Deloris Keaton Trice was born February 10, 1963 in Cleveland, Mississippi to the union
of Oddis and Emma Keaton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony
Trice, her son, Anthony Christopher Trice, her father, the late Reverened Oddis Keaton,
and her brother, Ronnie Undra Keaton Sr.
Deloris was educated in Cleveland, Mississippi Public School System where she
graduated from the almighty East Side High School in 1981. She later moved to
Milwaukee, WI where she married her late husband, Anthony Trice in 1993.
Deloris accepted Christ at an early age and she established a close relationship with
our Lord and Savior as a long standing member of Providence Baptist in Milwaukee, WI
under the leadership of the late Reverend Gaines followed by Pastor Johnson. After
relocating back home to be closer to family in 2023, she went on to serve under the
leadership of Pastor Louis Keaton at William Chapel M.B. Church in Ruleville, MS.
Deloris had a long standing career in nursing of over 30 years where she earned her
nurse practioner license and also prepared the next generations by teaching nursing
school. During her college years, she became a member of the well known, Delta
Sigma Theta Sorority. She enjoyed movies, reading, sports, and traveling. She also
loved baking making her signature cream cheese pound cakes and caramel cakes.
Deloris departed this life on July 2, 2026. She leaves to cherish her memory of her
mother, Emma Keaton, one daughter, Shondra S. Keaton; three brothers, Larry Keaton
(Milwaukee, WI), Louis Keaton (Cleveland, MS), Lonnie(Angel) Keaton (Olive Branch,
MS); one sister, Ora (Martinez) Keaton-Milton (Milwaukee, WI); and a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins and other relatives.
