Gregory M. Johnson

Gregory Johnson was born June 24, 1968 in Cleveland, Mississippi, to Ellawee Johnson and the late Lonnie Johnson. He departed this life on June 15, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter and cherished memories

Gregory was preceded in death by his father Lonnie Johnson; his grandmother Virginia Thompson; his grandfather McKinley Beckworth; (3) brothers, Charlie Johnson, Lonnell Johnson, and Stevie Johnson; and (2) sisters, Mary Carr, Jura Mae Miller

He leaves to cherish his fondest memories his loving mother, Ellawee Johnson of Cleveland, MS; (2) sisters, Annie Walker and Ethel “Puddin” Cardine both of Cleveland, MS. (2) uncles, Sammie (Dorothy) Beckworth and Charlie Hawkins both of Cleveland, MS. And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who will forever treasure the time they shared with him.

Gregory’s presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
