Obituary
Today we celebrate the homegoing of Mrs. Jarmiter-Westley Harris. Jarmiter was born on December 15, 1970 at Taborian Hospital in Mound Bayou, MS to the late Ms. Earma Jean Westley and the late Mr. Terry Beamon. Jarmiter departed this Earth on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at her residence surrounded by family.
Jarmiter grew up in Renova, MS with six other siblings. She attended the Cleveland School District and pursued a career in the healthcare field. She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and continued her faith until she departed.
Jarmiter is preceded in death by her son Jarvis J. Westley. She leaves to cherish her memories: a husband, (Anthony V. Harris) four children; Cherrie (Lewis) Hodges of Memphis, TN, Lajacqueline J. Westley of Memphis, TN, Otis Westley of Cleveland, MS, and Tabitha Westley of Cleveland, MS; five sisters, Anita Westley of Richmond, VA, Jarquiter (Percy) Barnes of Cleveland, MS Carla (Billy) Radford of Mound Bayou, MS , Jennifer Westley of Cleveland, MS and Terri-Janette Coston of Hammon, LA; two brothers, Dennis (Earnestine) Westley of Cleveland, MS and Tony Westley also of Cleveland, MS; eight grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and a special friend Johnnie Mae "Agnes" Garner.
