Stg. Jerone Jackson was born to the late LV and Gertie Jackson on December 4, 1955. At an early age, he confessed hope in Christ, where he joined Old Mount Olive in Mound Bayou, MS under the leadership of Rev. Forney.
Jerone received an education at Eastside High School in Cleveland, MS. Upon graduation, he went into the military and served for 34 years.
On April 6, 2023, Jerone transitioned from earth into eternity.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Vivian Ann Jackson; one son, Kerry Quinn Jackson of Cleveland, MS, and one daughter Laquetta Michele Jackson of Houston, TX; one grandson, Korelli Jackson of Memphis, TN; three sisters, Martha Jackson of Cleveland, MS; Vivian (Gerald) Harris of AL and Joyce Marie Jackson of Memphis, TN; five brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law: Deborah (Paul) Cole of Houston, TX, Kim (Tony) Williams, Katie Armstrong, Norman Armstrong, and Antonio Dawson all of Rosedale, MS, Danny Armstrong of Beulah, MS, Jesse Dawson of Vicksburg, MS, and Xavier Armstrong of Indiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
