Joanna Ramiz Thigpen was born on November 13, 1974. She entered into eternal rest on January 2. 2024. She is the loving daughter of the late Floyd and Georgia Ramiz Sr. She excepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Reverend Larry Williams at Riverside United Baptist Church.
On October 19, 2021 Joann married the love of her life for 22 years. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband, Danny Thigpen Jr of Cleveland, MS, 2 daughters : Tammynesha Ramiz-Franklin (Latoya) of Port Allen, LA & Marian Thigpen of Cleveland MS. 2 sons: Steven Ramiz of Milwaukee WI & Kevin Ramiz of Bastrop LA. 10 grandchildren: Jaylen, Zanobia, Jessie III, Kelsie, Samaria, Z'ariah, Madelyn, Madyson, Ka'dien and Loyaltee. 2 brothers: Floyd Ramiz Jr(Ariel) and Terry Ramiz. 4 sisters: Eveline, Diana, Tina & Victoria Ramiz. A mother and father in law: Lula Davis & Danny Thigpen Sr. 2 sister in law Charleeka Thigpen and Shundra McCoy. 2 brother in laws Damien and Javarius Thigpen. And a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends.
Joann was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Georgia Ramiz Sr, a niece Candace Ramiz and both maternal and paternal
grandparents. Joann was the light of the family, from cooking all the holiday meals to giving the decorating advice to many. She love dressing up and doing her make up and shopping. She loved all her family especially those grandbabies as she would call them her babies.
We are thankful for the life of Joann.
