Reneal Little Obituary

Reneal was born to the late Dorothy Miller and the late Henry Little, Jr. on August 27, 1953 in
Cleveland, MS. He was raised by his aunt & uncle, Lewis & Winnie Mae Bass in Cleveland,
MS.


He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age at New Bethel M. B. Church under
the leadership of the late Rev. R. W. Ford. He served in the ministry as a deacon. Under the
present leadership of Pastor Cleophus Neal Sr.


Reneal is a graduate of East Side High School class of 972. He also attended Coahoma
Community College, Mississippi Valley State University and Delta State University.
Reneal was employed with the Cleveland Police Department from 1980 – 2003 retiring as
assistant chief of police.


Mr. Little was a servant. He served in the U. S. Army. He served in the Desert Storm and served
in the Mississippi National Guard Cleveland Unit. He also passionately served with the Boys
Scout as a Scout leader for many years. While leading Boys Scouts he had the opportunity to
visit Japan.


Mr. Little was united in Holy matrimony to the late Margaret Jones on December 6, 1975.

He was preceded in death; by his, wife, Margaret Little; his parents, Dorothy Miller, Henry &
Lena Little; five brothers, Lindell Little, Rupert Little, Bruce Little, Allan Dale Little, Dewayne
Little, one grandson, Quacedrick Jones.


Reneal leaves to cherish his memories; three daughters, Latasha Lockett of Pasadena, CA,
Wanda Jones of Los Angeles, CA, Jacqueline (Patrick) Mitchell of Cleveland, MS; four sisters,
Lacey Little of New Orleans, LA, Shelia Little of Irvington, NJ, Janice Little and
Kimberly
Thomas both of Houston, TX; two brothers, Joseph (Jackie) Wilder of Chicago, IL, Kedrick 
Little of Houston, TX; one aunt, Tommie M. Kirk of Cleveland, MS; a very special friend, Rosa Nash and her children, Shirley Lewis, Marie Ramiz, Jessie Ramiz and Demarcus (Annice) Ramiz of Tupelo, MS, Accadio Ramiz of Pace, MS; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
