Shirley Ann Johnson
“Big Baby”
Shirley Johnson (Big Baby), left this world to be with the Lord on August 22, 2022 to find comfort in the Lord.
Known by many names such as, Shirley, Shirley J, and the infamous Big Baby was born on June 20, 1963 in Merigold, MS to Irene and Chester Mitchell Sr., who proceeded her in her death. Shirley was raised in Ruleville, MS where she attended school. She graduated from Ruleville Central High and went into the work field. Shirley had various jobs throughout her life, where I am sure she left a lasting impression. To know “Big Baby” is truly an experience because her personality shined bright. She has always spoke her mind and she had no problem telling you what was on her mind.
Shirley Johnson retired from the work field later in life and where she was able to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Shirley spent the rest of her years on the earth making people laugh and smile. She was a loving and caring mother, sister, aunt, sister-in-law, and grandmother. She also met no stranger.
